Hipness question: Are snakeskin boots still ok to wear?

Snakeskin boots were never cool. But I rock jeans, t shirt, and sneakers everywhere, so I have no style whatsoever.

I see a lot of exotics like snake and alligator over in the Mexican district in S. OKC. Snake isn't really in unless you want to portray yourself as a drug store cowboy. Ostrich is though so run down to Langston's and get yourself a $200 pair of square toed ostrich boots. I have 3 pair of ostrich and love them, very durable and comfortable. I have one pair that is 20 years old and has been re-souled 5 times, they still look like new when I shine em up.

Do people really worry about COOL? I thought that was so over after we got our high school diploma. Actually I'm still wearing the same thing as I wore back then. Now I'm off to the Goodwill store to look for more North Face stuff.....

My dad has a pair of Lizard skin boots that are atleast 40 years old he still breaks out everyonce in awhile. They are pretty BA.
