I've seen those Varmageddons do poorly in the 6.5 Grendel...but the 7.62 bullet you used certainly was effective on a headshot.

Yea it did pretty poorly on the buck I shot, but I know I was pushing it taking that shot at close to 300 yards during deer season. I think that one pencil holed and didn't expand or fragment, I assume due to losing velocity. BUT, when they smack a hog skull at 75 yards, they work pretty good! hah
