I had a young buck a few years ago that wouldn’t jump out of an open top metal trap and ran into the side and broke his neck as my daughter and I pulled up on the Ranger to open the gate for him.That was a dirty job! Goodness I wish we had enough rain to make it muddy around here.
This is a good time of year for the pig brig. I saw a picture of real nice buck that had tangled his antlers up in the netting and didn't survive the stress.
