Correctamundo! Sometimes people are homeless because they want to be. People live in what they want to live in. There was a house in Kansas that was normal on the outside but it had a dirt floor because they sold the wood for drugs. I have dealt with hundreds as an LEO and as a citizen alarm technician in large cities and downtown OKC. I would say a really large percentage are from drugs and the poor decisions made to obtain more.I know quite a few homeless people. I would say 99% have serious drug addictions. The ones I know have burned every bridge of family members by stealing from them. I have compassion for them and have helped some of them but most homeless are by choice. I knew a one legged homeless guy that was given a decent camper and destroyed it then was given a nice wood portable building and destroyed it to. He is homeless.
