I was asked by my grandfather to help price some of his firearms to sell. These guns are well beyond my pay grade and there are so many variables that make SUCH a difference in the values, I'm just not comfortable pricing them out.
He's in Texas...so if anybody knows an appraiser who deals in "high end" Winchester and Browning type shotguns (Many NIB), Civil War era rifles, lever actions, etc...I would really appreciate help. I'll likely have to go down to him to get the guns anywhere, he is not comfortable doing it on his own.

Ideally someone in South-Central TX...

I'm betting I have the same recommendations as DRC458, but to offer other sources, contact Bass Pro and Cabela's.
They buy collections and offer prices.
Take every avenue you can to get a feeling of the prices and then go for it.
Don't forget OSA.
We have some folks that can afford some serious jack to buy guns.
