All Indian generics sold from Cyprus. I think I'll jump right on that. Not to mention illegal. Especially if you get meds without your doctor's prescription.

The website states in several places that a script is required. No narcotics or controlled substances either.

Wrong, all meds are directly from India and from very large well respected pharmaceutical companies. If you want to overpay and get raped by American big-pharma, be my guest. My friends and family have been ordering and using Indian medications for 7 years now. We are beyond 100% happy with the meds we get. Some are even better than the US brands.

I have never been asked for a script.

The reason meds are so cheap in India ???..........easy, India has laws that restrict markup percentages on meds. They want their people to be able to afford meds and stay healthy.

incredibly common. Always best to go to an "independent" pharmacy vs big name. Better service and 90% of the time better pricing. I use Barrett Drug Center in Edmond (since my mother works there) and The one in the Mercy clinic in Bethany. Fast, great service and pricing.

Places like Walgreens corporate sets their prices based on all overhead and they also get only what big daddy says they should have.

What do you base this statement from?

FWIW, alldaychemist.com is run by Eyston Enterprises Limited based in Nicosia Cyprus. You must not have read my post because I said these were Indian meds.

Well I'm not getting raped by anybody. Maybe you are. But that's beside the point. If you don't provide a script then both you and the pharmacy are breaking US law. Importation by you is also against US law. I'm not sure I would be admitting that on the Internet.

If you want to break the law to save a few bucks, that's certainly your choice and your risk, not mine. I simply don't care.

As long as you are comfortable with generic only foreign meds that might have no US quality control (yes I know many plants are FDA inspected), then knock yourself out.

All my generic BP meds range from $3-$10 a month each from Drug Warehouse with insurance, so I doubt I'll be looking for a change. But where are these mom-and-pop pharmacys located in Tulsa?

I generally prefer either Spoon Drug in Sand Springs or Freeland-Brown at 41st & Peoria.

99% of the time I can walk into either place, hand 'em a script and be out the door within 5 minutes....try that at any mega-store!

My Dr.'s office has a local independent pharmacy in the same building. One stop shopping and it's always cheaper than the chain stores. Not to mention how many times I've had problems with Walgreens where my meds haven't been ready due to some issue with the authorization and I've had to make two trips. Funny, that's never happened at the independent. :rolleyes2

A few bucks ? If it were only a "few bucks" I wouldn't bother. I save literally 60-90% on everything. We are bent over in the USA by our pharmaceutical companies that basically own the Congress and rape the country. My family saves thousands of dollars a year. As far as what I base the "some things are better" comment, I'll give you an example. I have one family member who uses these high dollar inhalers for asthma. With her company medical insurance, those inhalers cost her $57 each. I order them for $8 each from India and the mg's of active ingredient are actually a little higher so they work better and she uses less. My father in law takes thousands of dollars of medications for heart conditions. He went from spending $3000 year while on Medicare to spending $300 a year for the same meds from India and couldn't be happier. This time of year I usually have to go to the doctor and spend $150 for an office visit and a Kenelog shot for ragweed alergies. For $6 I order the Kenelog from India and keep a supply in my fridge.

I only make 1 order a year as the shipping cost is a base $25 no matter whether you order $20 worth of meds or $2000. I order under a bogus name using a prepaid VISA card that will accept any name or you can add a bogus name online to the account. Each year I'm asked to order more and more meds as everyone has been extremely happy. I won't even tell you how happy my friends are that order their "double pill offer" cheap boner pills.............. LOL !

I spent a couple of years as a pharmacy tech at an independent pharmacy. $10 profit for generic prescriptions paid in cash and $15 for name brands was standard practice for us. When we sent prescriptions through for insurance the computer sent in the request for some ridiculously huge number based off some calculations even the pharmacist admitted he didn't fully understand. My guess is that Walgreens is probably charging everybody based those calculations used to charge insurance companies.

You just confessed to multiple felonies. As far as the DEA is concerned, this would make you a distributor, just like the guy down on the corner pushing meth or crack.

Few years ago I read a magazine article about a lady who was buying a skin cream from India. Made her skin look wonderful, she was soooo happy. Happy that is until her adrenal glands crapped out on her due to the massive amount of glucocorticoids in her body lotion (not listed on the label of course).

HMMMM seems many different things work for different people ( as is usualy the case) and I see this one coming close to what I see.
We too spend "several thousand" a year on Rx (my Wife has LUPUS).
The convenience of being open 24 hrs is what keeps us close to walgreens, but I like the idea of using the locals.
Ill have to look into it.
