How low will gun and ammo prices go?

We’ve had several threads about the saturated gun market. I’ve seen multiple sales where new, decent AR-15s are under $400.

Late 2018, I stocked up on thousands of 9mm at $.13/round. I’m hoping prices dive again to those kinds of lows.

The classifieds are choked full of glocks, ARs and hunting rifles that are priced insanely high for the market.

How long until the used gun market tanks and ammo gets absolutely dirt cheap? Used stock glocks should be around $350 in my opinion. I think thats where we’re headed.

Not anytime in the near future im afraid unless im the one selling then it will. Ammo will stay high til they find another source for the component for powder and primers til China lifts its embargo on it.

But at the worst they’ll eventually have a fire sale and dump them on the market as they go out of business.

You can find 9mm on Ammoseek for .136 per round + shipping. With free shipping the lowest is around .223 per

Used Glock 19's, which is the most common Glock, avg about 400.00 for the "buy it now" option on GB, by the time you add shipping, tax, and transfer fee your looking at 475.00 minimum. Several dealers offer police trade-ins for 350.00 but usually you don't get to pick. Most charge shipping although usually about half of what GB charges, some charge tax and some don't. Unless you're an FFL you gotta pay a transfer fee. I'm lucky mine only charges 10 bucks. Usually those guns haven't actually been fired very much but some have. On avg I'd estimate about 375-400 delivered. So pretty close either way, give or take. I use the "auction" option and look for good deals with few or no bidders. I'm retired, so I have time to waste. Some models go higher some lower.
