I have some FAL magazines, but I don't have a rifle to go wth them.....yet

FAL fan here for sure!
I have several (para's too) and all are great shooters.
Part and receivers used to be cheap but that has changed.

Ditto on the Falfiles.
Their market board has turned into a discussion/flame free for all.
That's where you find the "chit-chat".

I have not been to the FILES in a long time. I stopped going there when they had the big shake up and started to runn good people off.

Ok im going to fess up here and say that I have never even seen a FAL and couldnt pick one out in a line up

But from what ive been reading lately they have my interest perked pretty good and im going to have to see what all the fuss is about. Anyone around Enid got one of these bad boys? Or someone down in OKC that wants to meet up for a shoot. I would love to check one of these out first hand.

I shot a FAL for the first time this past weekend, and I must say they are bad to the bone! Using irons at 80 yards, 3-shot groups were tight enough that they all touched. Very impressive, if you ask me!

I may have to get one someday soon!

Welcome to the OSA 101ABN327, I have always liked the FALs. I finally got one from another board member on here a few months ago. Mine is a L1A1 on an Enterprise receiver built by Enterprise. I love the way it shoots. It is the only 308 that my wife likes to shoot.

I haven't been to the FALFiles in a long time. It used to be very helpful concerning technical issues. Really nice STG58 kits used to be available for $125.
