I look forward to December or January when OC is no longer a topic of speculation, but is just another part of OK life. Sure, there will be issues with jerks that happen to be carrying and draw police attention to themselves, but polite and respectful OC will likely draw zero police attention.

Why does no one get the idea of open carry! I will never open carry (I don't think) but it is a right we should all have! By having a law against open carry and for only concealed carry you are letting the government regulate your rights even more than they are and these rights should not be regulated. Ideally, we would have constitutional carry eventually. No license needed for any carry!

Do you believe in magazines capacity restrictions? Or "assault weapon" bans?
All these restrictions are made to slowly cut the tree if freedom down.

And just out of curiosity where has such an event taken place where an old man carrying an expensive 1911 been disarmed and robbed in an open carry state? This sounds like an antigun ideal....or something an authoritarian LEO would say.
