It's surprisingly easy to ban guns. California banned ARs and it's pretty much worked. Sales and possession will be prohibited. A small chunk could be gotten with buy backs, but the police won't be doing door to door confiscations. As long as your guns are uselessly buried or hidden in your walls then they don't care. All you'll have to worry about is if the neighbor sent the police to your house from say your wife screaming at you, home fires, child custody disputes and things like that. It's always set up as hide your guns and hope you don't get caught but it's never a Molon Labe fantasy.
