How to transfer a rifle from an estate?

A coworker is the executor of his brothers estate. He is in Oklahoma and his brother's estate is in Texas. He has some sort of an AK 47 that he wants to sell.

Can he bring it back to Oklahoma to sell or must he sell it in Texas if ftf?

I'm sure he is not wanting to ship in anywhere, just sell on a site like this or Armslist. I told him I would ask on this forum and get back with him.....Thanks.

You can purchase long guns out of state and they don't require you to ship it to your ffl.

Convenience, Ease of use, liability insulation. There is likely more to it but I've had too much turkey! I don't do these buy my partner does.
