I am begining to get the fever!!! Anyone have any Dove hunting predictions?

The game dept. seems to think because of the drought we are going to have an above average dove crop. Are you seeing any in your area?

Humans despise this weather but the doves love it! Saw a flock of 12ish coming off a field I have hunted for years. Just happened to run into the landowner at the tire shop. He said come on out and he may be able to get permission to a couple other places.

That's been opposite my experience the last few years. Saw nothing when hunting but always had two on my chimney when I got home.

Hopefully better this year.

Who from, when and where did you get this information?

I’m seeing dove, but not in above average numbers. I hope the info is accurate. I could use a little good news. Not getting any anywhere or about much else.
