Meet Scylla and Charybdis,,,
My Taurus 22-PLY and 25-PLY.

I took their names from Greek mythology,,,
Basically they are the original "between a rock and a hard place".

I finally obtained the mags I needed to fill the set out,,,
I have two original mags for each of them,,,
Three Mec-Gar magazines for the .22,,,
And three PT mags for the .25.

I'm not quite finished with the case as yet,,,
I am thinking of changing the green felt to red,,,
And contemplating some divider pieces for the inside.

You folk have probably noticed my affection for cased sets,,,
There's an elegance to them that I just appreciate.

Many of you will think it's silly,,,
To put this much investment into mouse guns.

But I believe that even though they be small,,,
They be mighty, and deserve the effort.

Anyways, here they are in all their miniscule glory.

but I question the logic of keeping two different calibers in the same box.

I'm not certain how logic comes into the idea,,,
Are you thinking that one might mix up the magazines?

I would suppose that because my original motive was,,,
Collecting handguns in rimfire/centerfire pairs,,,
It just seemed logical to case them together.

If one holds with the theory that practice with the rimfire pistol,,,
Inevitably leads to more proficiency with the centerfire,,,
Then casing them together for range trips is good.

I dunno,,,
It always seemed proper to me.
