I've loved my mosins, the m44 kicks but the 91/30s with a recoil pad are no where near as bad, even the wife will shoot the 91/30. Plus its a cheap shooter with good accuracy. I've never had a problem with my bolt either, its no Tikka but its a 70 year old gun, just slam it over and it'll be fine.
