I was going through some of my vintage ammo

And ran across these. I collect old ammo and boxes but never really paid attention to these. Probably got them at a pawn shop or garage sale cheap. Anyways, do you guys think the bullet is solid copper or steel core? Unfortunately, the box only has 30 or so rounds in it. I’m guessing that if it was full, it might have a little collector interest?

There were some early ones made that were lead with a steel cap.

It's hard to see, but is that lead I see at the crimp groove?

Steel core, I carried those in an old wheel gun.
