I'm right there with ya. When I was a kid, if you got a hole in your britches, momma would sew a patch on em. If they got too bad, they went into the trash.

After we could no longer patch the holes we just made cut-offs out of 'em.

My first thought was one of religious jeans, and I was thinking I needed to Google those. Sorry.

I like them on women. I like it when the holes are on the buttcheeks or the crotch.

When we were in Utah working at an RV park, the wife bought me 4 or 5 new pairs of Wranglers. First day with one of the pairs, I caught it on an exposed screw in a door that came shut as I went in. Ripped a nice hole in the back seat area.

She fixed it by sewing a fairly small U.S. flag patch over the hole, and I'm still wearing those today.

I have thought many times of going out and buying new jeans and wear them til holes developed in them and then list them for sale as New Fashionable jeans and get my money back
