True story....really a true story.
My grandmother was a person that couldn't read outside the lines.
There was a sandwich shop in Ponca City that was a sub from the mother store in Arkansas city Ks that is still there called the Grinder Man.
My grand mother (now deceased and would have been in her late 90's now)interpreted that to mean a place that sharpened yard tools, so using her walker, she took her hedge clippers in there, laid them on the counter and asked the shocked counter person when she could pick them up. The counter person was speechless.
We had a relative that worked in there that related the story to us. That old grandma was a hoot at times.
