First off, kicking a teacher's ass after the fact isn't defending the defenseless, so come on down off that high horse and stay a while. Stating that you would kick someone's ass because your kid came home with a cut on her arm is you saying that you disagree with something, so you're taking the law into your own hands and screw the proper way to punish this teacher...
Which is exactly the same thing as a teacher snatching a kid up by the arm because they weren't listening instead of that same teacher following the rules according to their school...
You see the flawed logic here? Its called straw-man logic - no one said anything about defending your life or "the defenseless" - we're talking about being a hot-head and talking about going up and kicking some teachers ass because they snatched a kid up.
Going up to the school and kicking a teacher's ass after the fact is not in any way the same thing as beating someone's ass to take a knife or gun away (and I sincerely hope you know the difference - because if you carry a gun and don't know the difference, I'm truly scared for you and those around you).
And if I'm around when some whack-job (someone with presumably flawed logic) is hurting a child, I'll do exactly what I'm supposed to do. I won't do what this teacher did, and I won't start talking about (nor will I) go up and kick someone's ass after the fact.
That sounds more whack-job than anything posted in this thread.
