I'm with you. It wasn't their choice. We educated them. They are here. Why not tax them.

If you really honestly think that they will actually end up on the net taxed side of the equation, you have some self education to perform.
They will be given enough tax breaks or exemptions that they never pay taxes. Instead they will end up receiving more in refunds than they ever pay in withholding.
Are you ok with paying more in taxes yourself to subsidize an additional 10 mil. moochers?

Unfortunately I suspect you are right. I was thinking a little bit ago that the Repubs could take the dream act and rearrange the sections, leaving the exact same wording of each section, call it something else and introduce it in Congress and I'd lay money down that not a single dim would vote for it.

As for what Obumnuts has done, it was pure politics. The only thing he cares about is the votes they will give him. He has after all declared political war on the employers of all the illegals and everyone else for that matter. So does he really "care" about these folks? Not one whit. This has also pretty much blown the hell out of everything Marco Rubio was working on. Don't think politics isn't the motive for a second, he could care less about them except for the votes they bring.

why do you think the dems don't want voter ID laws. yes its a constitutional right for LEGALS to vote but without a system of checks and balances, it opens the door for fraud.
