Iraqi AK47 underfolders at RK

I would love to have one, I thought about posting up my Saiga 12 to get one. They are very nice the markings and finish is awesome. The night sights work and the fit up of everything is great. I have a CAI Yugoslav underfolder and it is built well but you can tell they didn't put much care into it and I hate the finish. There are a lot of AKs out there over $1000 now. There is a little more to building one than pins, nuts and detents.

Hey if you guys are standing in line to buy one then great, so be it. My "sucker" comment was towards the fact that someone told the OP they were brought back from Iraq, were select fire, etc AT THE GUNSHOW. I have no idea who it was but it's BS in my opinion. So put some Tucks on that butt hurt, it will feel better.

That kinda pisses me off because I asked the same? To the individual selling them and he specfically stated they were the real mccoy. I might give Big Boys a call monday and have discussion about someone representing them and being deceitful to the general public,should have known better,there was a guy out there selling AP 7.62x54,I opened the box and there where 5 different headstamps on the ammo none of which were AP,I have the headstamp page bookmarked on my phone so I don't buy anything above 160gr for my rifles,you could tell he used a black magic marker on the tips.
Well,my ignorance on the Iraqi AK,sure wish they were real but I would say just from the quality at least 7-800, they were nice,just don't care for Deceitful people!

If their employess are marketing these as demilled iraqi AKs, then Big Boys needs to get some feedback for sure. They might as well partner up with Gunworld if they're going down that road.

I've heard of guys in Iraq bringing back genuine Iraqi AKs for $200. These guys did work for halliburton which is how they got them past customs but still....$1000 for replicas?

Then they are illegal as can be and worth 10 years in the federal pen. Imported machineguns have been been from civilians since the Gun Control Act of 1968.

I did not see a Big boys sign but I did get one of steves business cards and the individual I was talking to specifically told me they were sold in Big boys store. I still want one just not for 1100.00 all it is is a true yugo underfolder with some iraqi stamps

I do not think that anyone was trying to impune the work that Steve @ Two Rivers Arms is doing. His work and attention to detail is impressive and it costs money to do it right. I think the only point that was trying to be made is that the middle man who is selling these guns is being dishonest if he is representing these as 100% actual Iraqi AK's.

B.S. Missing the connection between working for Halliburton and being able to get stuff through customs.

Did guys get stuff home? Yup. I know it for certain. But nobody except for some very specific authorized cases (museum's, unit collections etc...) did it legally.

I could've smuggled home any number of weapons...but had to ask myself if any of it was worth Federal charges. That was an easy answer.

+1, I'm sure Two Rivers and Big Boys would like to know about whoever this is and cut him off as a distributor.
