Kelli said Steve told her they were clones at H and H during the expo. I talked to her about his thread. Now that I think about it a couple said NoDak on the receiver but some had no writing at all on the bottom. Steve was busy talking to people when I was at the booth. I was looking at the rifles and he was showing people the book. But when I got there and when I went by later there was some other guy there so maybe he is mistaken?

He may have been but the one thing I remember him pointing out is the marking on the trunion,he said that it was the new saddam regime marking and had come from the iraqi military and was brought back From Iraq, clear as day that was said to me,so it's probly just 1 guy trying to be a salesman.

This is straight off of the Two Rivers Arms website: http://tworiversarms.com/index.html

Two Rivers Arms uses advanced engraving techniques to replicate the Iraqi sight block markings in every detail. While some homebuilders have replicated the logo, no markings to date compare to the quality of Two Rivers Tabuk TM style rifles.

Two Rivers Arms also replicates the full military appearance of the Iraqi Tabuk style rifle. No synthetics stocks or grooved pistol grips will be found on Two Rivers replica rifles.

Two Rivers Arms semi-auto Tabuk rifles replicate the look and feel of Iraqi domestic rifles and come with a replica Arabic rifle manual identical to the original issued to Saddam's troops.

The wood is made in the USA and is sanded, stained, matched and finished to present an outstanding and authentic appearance with the broad grains on Iraqi wood.

By carefully selecting compliant parts, the external appearance remains consistent with the actual military rifles. No cheap or quirky external parts that force you to alter your rifle later to make it look correct.

Look, these are very well made and detailed rifles and I am sure they are worth their price due to the attention to detail, but they are replicas, NOT REAL IRAQI RIFLES

neat looking rifles and more than likely the quality is there . but ALL of you are wrong , and that's what is wrong with us now . the price is over 1200 dollars not a thousand or 1100 . and still thats way way too much . so round UP to reality folks . oh and though i normally type my rants out i rarely post them . so every once in a while i afford myself validity . lol

No,the website cleared up my confusion on the validity of it,but I'll try and get ahold of Steve at lunch today to explain what I was told,I'm sure someone might get an ass chewin, the way I look at it is if I wasn't the only one told that then how many unsuspecting people bought those guns thinking the same thing I did and they had at least 6 that were already sold.

Ok,I called the sales# on the Two Rivers Arms Co. card and it was answered as Big Boys guns and ammo I asked to speak to Steve Russell, once on the phone I proceeded to explain how I saw his Tabuk and after looking on his website came to the determination that they were a clone and he said yes just like all ak's they are built here in the U.S. and are just a representation of the Tabuk,I explained that I was told that the guns at his booth were brought back directly from the iraqi military and he immediately said,I never said that,I responded I know you didnt,it was not you it was someone else, his response was: well there were alot of different people going in and out of the booth, I polightly interupted and said: what I am getting at is someone there on saturday was misrepresenting you,he immediately said well thank you for your call and hung up.
