lift blocks = scary lift blocks on a steering axle = super scary.

If I'm not mistaken Oklahoma regulates headlight and taillight heights above the road. Exact measurement escapes me right now.

That is brilliant.

I was I had pictures of the Econoline I saw at a gas station in Barry County Mo a few years ago. It was rust primer, and sat on axles I didn't take the time to identify. That's how it was lifted (it had no front driveshaft, of course). It had clapped out leaf springs and u bolts as long as my calf stretched over a ridiculous amount of 2'x4" steel for the "lift". On both axles. I don't remember what the drag link was, but it very well could have been an old T-post or something. And it sat on comparatively tiny, bald Ground Hawgs.

If I'm lyin' I'm dyin', the owner had a mullet and was not wearing a shirt. Actually he may have just had long hair and was balding. He also had a kid that looked like the feral kid from Mad Max.

Google says max headlight height of 54" in Ok, no bumper height.

HID in non HID assemblies is worse than anything. Not to mention illegal.

What makes HIDs illegal? Im not trying to argue but I cant find anything in FMVSS 108 or OS 47 that makes them illegal? I may be over looking something but I have been told several times that they are not legal but no one can show me where it is stated.

Dont know the statute, but I got a $250 ticket from OHP in 2001 for having HID in assemblies without HID cutoff.
