Congrats @thor447 ! Beautiful truck! Next time I'm ready to trade (if ever), I want you to do my negotiating!
Just be prepared to walk away. I had a printed offer in hand from Chevrolet (got earlier in the day on a truck I didn't really want) that I used as leverage. I also had the buyout offer from Carmax in hand. I told them the terms I needed, and politely said that if they can't do it, that's OK and I'll just leave. First offer I received wasn't close, so I got my old keys back (they still had them from their appraisal, their trick to keep you there), and just said thanks for your time. They said 'Hold On, Hold On' let me see if we can do better, which of course most of the time they can. After I got the rate I wanted, I just squeezed out everything else that I can (extra protections for interior, extended warranty (8 years), etc. before agreeing to the deal. In total, negotiations took about 45 minutes.

That's good to hear. A friend of mine has a 2019 or 2020 that has been put through a lot and is still going strong. They seem like well made trucks.

I knew whatever I ended up getting would need to fit in the garage in the case of a hail storm, etc. Knowing the depth in my garage, when looking at the dimensions of this pickup, it showed to be 233.6 inches in total length. My garage measures 233-7/8". That was far too close for comfort, so before I agreed to purchase I told them I had to confirm that it would fit in my garage. They let me take it home. Here's the results. The back is no more than 1/4 from the wall, and I have barely any room up front, but it does fit!

At least I know I'll be able to put it inside before a hail storm or some severe weather event.
With earth's gravity in play, when you have a full tank of fuel and keg of beer in the back seat it will not fit. The extra weight allows the frame to increase in length

Over 100,000 engines recalled. Have to have complete replacements. Toyota was doing short blocks but those were failing as well.
Its not just the Tundra that engine has been having issues in the lexus line as well before it made it to the tundra.

Wind noise thru the windshield, mine had it.

Seat trims breaking, even after being re designed twice.

Fuel line recalls, as well as faulty fuel gauge readings. On some models the gauge will just jump to full when the tanks not.

Some models with the electronic dash would lose the dash, nothing would light up, earlier models have not heard of any newer issues with this.

Theres a stop sale, or was on the TRD lift.

Issues with door trim and window trim

Bed and tailgate alinement issues for a while, hopefully thats fixed.

I have seen pics of cracked paint on the roofs where theres a seam.

I had a 2022 for 4 months, could not wait to get out of it and did. Took a beating but damn what a POS. it was.

I would go back to a tundra but it would be a 2012 thru 2020 model.
