Is your 22 a literal nail driver?

I had purchased a Ruger 10/22 .22lr with the Fajen stock, hammer forged heavy barrel, target trigger, etc. Using Wolf Target Match Extra (I think that was what it was called, it wasn't their best, but was decently priced target ammo), my best 10 shot group at 100 yards was 1.17".
I didn't think that was too bad for an off the shelf rifle, mid-level ammo, and 53 year old eyes.

I have a Remington 40x and a Model 52 Winchester which will absolutely drive nails if you feed them the right match ammo properly weighed and sorted. I hear people tell me now days weight sorting its not necessary but I still engage in the practice.

Dad had, or has a nylon 66 that was like a Lazer beam, and could stack them on top of one another all day long.

Mine was a German copy of the single action army in .22 and could drive nails all day long.

Now this is better than driving TACS/NAIL Driver. With a .22 CZ 457 Varmint @25 yards. (jus one of three clean shots Without breaking OR CHIPPINIG THE life saver.
