It called to me. I couldn't resist.

Its larg enough I can load it with meat to feed an army. I don't like cooking multiple times when I have friends and family over. I want to man the grill once and be done. That and I want the meat to be perfect. $499 was a lot of money for a grill. But it was 150% worth it. Still is. What ever you do don't buy one and switch it to CNG. Everyone that has converted them, converted them back. THey just don't maintain the temps with CNG that they do LP.

They do make a smaller version of this grill 3 burner not 4 burner that is cheaper. I have yet to use the outside burner on this grill but have used the one on the older grill I sold to my work. Same grill just older and not infared. I fried bacon on the griddle for bacon burgers one day at work. Aside from being incredibly messy(BLack Label bacon is fatty) I was pleased with the results. Real hot spot in the center and cold on the edges. Expected for how thin the metal griddle was. I'd rather loose the griddle and throw a cast iron pot for fish fry on it.

I have the Charbroil Professional Series Infared grill at the house. I love it. I can throw the fattiest meat on the grill and not have a single flare up. perfect even temps across the grill. insane heat. Uses much more gas than my old grill.

That is the one I have been looing at. Thanks for the advice, I see a purchase in my near future.
