Try HS-6 for medium power 357 and 44 loads. Far cleaner burning than Unique and Bullseye, I run 6 grains with a 158 grain J&K bullet and it mades a pretty good plinking load. I run 3.6 grains of Bullseye with the same bullet in 38 cases and it is DIRTY, after my Bullseye is out I will completely phase it out with HS-6 and use H110 for my :ooh2: loads.

Currently I'm using Unique for .357 mag loads, only under jacketed bullets. So far has been very clean. So far, after a hundred rounds or so, one wet patch run a couple times through the bore, and the following dry patch comes out almost clean.

If I could find something that would give me the powder puff loads I like for plinking with .38 and 9mm, I would switch from the Bullseye.
