Sounds like I’m in the vast minority here, but I actually thought Cruise was entertaining in this role

ive never read any of the books but I had to suspend disbelief thinking about a 6’4 , 280 lb dude with 6% body fat just riding the rails and drifting from town to town, picking up clothes in thrift shops and the like

I don't wanna watch the series, because I've read the books and I know that they'll ruin it. Hell, they already ruined the movies by letting midget Cruise play him a time or two.
