I ran the stage today with 8+1 and knocked down 13/35 in 20 , which isnt too bad, since Ive never used a shotgun in a comp... All I will say is.... Practice reloads while moving..... You can enter side match as many times as u like.. I.E.. I am going to fork out $15 and run it 3 times, It is alot of fun. Oh, before anything is said, I only did the shotgun stage one time, but I did some of the others a few times. Next month we will have a shotgun class fo sho..

Another +1 for upping the shotgun par time. $5 for 20 seconds is a little steep. Might get more takers if they get to shoot more rounds.

I have a single shot Stephen's and an old Damascus coach gun you pros can shot with to give us rookies a chance

I think about 7-10 more seconds would be more fun. Most handloaders will be doing good to load 1 round/second. The open guys with speedloaders or a Saiga will be loading 10-12 in 3-4 seconds if they have been practicing at it. So if everyone can shoot everything with .5 second splits that means the open guys can shoot about 25 targets and the handloaders will be shooting about 18-20.
