It's like "innocent until proven guilty".

In the real world, if you're accused then you must have done it. If you're found to be innocent by the court system, then something must have gone wrong along the way.

Just like O.J some people still think he killed someone even though he was found innocent.

I have found jumping to conclusions without considering any evidence to be strictly a homo sapien kinda thing.

I had a dog once that was bad about jumping to conclusions. Maybe it was because he couldn't consider any evidence. Or something.
