We have a paper in the process of publication on the topic. This was a fun one where we measured political-polarization in the government by analyzing every word spoken in Congress starting with the 96th Congress, and billions of words spoken in public internet domains (e.g., blogs, forums, facebook, twitter, etc.). In this way, it's really easy to see when polarization changes throughout our culture. We'll be sharing the results soon!
