Here's the first shot that I felt really proud of taken using my first DSLR purchased from jarrettszcz and with some pp help (along with some great photography instruction) from mhphoto.

Canon XTi
Tamron 70-300 Tele-Macro Lens
f8
10 second exposure
ISO 100

Here's another I took when we had the SUPER moon last month. Not bad detail for only a 45+ year old 200mm lens (upped by 1.6 due to APS-C conversion makes = 320)

Canon XTi
Takumar 200mm M42 Manual Lens (one from my Dad's collection)
I can't remember the aperture setting and EXIF doesn't record it but I think it was either f8 or f11
1/125 exposure
ISO 100

My littlest one hamming it up for the camera...

This lens is one that I've had my eye on and haven't yet got to fully try it out yet. It's supposed to be an amazing piece of glass though. I'm having a lot of fun adapting the old M42 manual lenses to the DSLR.

Canon XTi
Super Takumar 50mm (early 8 element version)
Can't remember the stop again... maybe wide open at f1.4? The crazy thing about this shot is that the room was very dim... no lighting at all. This super fast, clear lens made it twice as bright as it was in real life.
1/50th
ISO 800

The lighting on this one is GREAT! Very soft and without too many highlights.
