It looks more like a conceal carry 15 round pistol. Not meant to compete with Staccato or Prodigy ect.

More in line with Wilson’s EDC which would place it as a bargain at $1,499. JMO

Kimber shows Academy and Bass Pro bith sell these. Neither place shows them as available on their web sites.

At this point if you aren’t going Stacatto or Prodigy the next option to me would be the Stealth Arms Platypus. A double stack 1911 that takes Glock magazines will get my vote over any Kimber.

Nope. No grip safety.

That's the same MSRP as the Prodigy. I'm guessing street price will be about the same, too. The Kimber will be more expensive to make with the metal frame. I'd rather have the Kimber myself.

Not me I’d take a Springfield over a Kimber. Prodigy takes 17 & 20 round mags. The length and height are the same.
