We have hundreds of red wasps, and a few yellow jackets.
They live in the hollow tree's around here and in every crack and crevice of the barn, shop, house, etc.
We spray, swat and use several cans of the foam to fill in their holes.
They land in the pool to get water to build their nests, so a badminton racquet works really nice to swat them on the water, and guide the lifeless bodies to the skimmers.

The red ones and Yellow Jackets are vile creatures and will be here long after we're gone. It's a lifelong battle, I've put some of them down and they've sent me to the ER a couple of times but I won't give up!

Flippin' red wasps are BAD this year. We have them in the wellhouse and every time I get close to them, they come straight at me. I tried drenching them with a water hose yesterday, but one of the winged buttnuggets made it through the stream and chased me across the yard.
