Wow my wife is gonna be sad she loved the OLD Dallas and likes the NEW Dallas... I thought he was compelling as the gay conservative in Primary Colors.

I was just reading up on this. He died of throat cancer from smoking. He also had a liver transplant a few years back from heavy drinking. Surprised he made it to 81.

I'm sad to hear that. He was my favorite TV villan. He could look positively evil. He was what made the new Dallas worth watching,
