My wife and I got back from there about 2 months ago..it was a blast. Walking around and visiting the huge casinos is awesome. We saw Criss Angel in believe, it was really good. One of my favorite things there was going to the mix, it is a bar that is 64 floors high on TheHotel at mandalay bay. There are 2 other bars on tops of hotels, one is at the rio the other is at the palms. I thought it was really awesome and one hell of a view.
Whatever you do. TAKE SOME COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
don't overlook madame tussads.....if you go with someone that can take pictures. fly over the grand canyon. then go shoot some full auto! just don't do the things in the movie "hangover".
I went several weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the Dam Tour. The drive from Vegas to the dam is really cool, and I had a great time just walking the strip and people watching. You see some wild stuff in Vegas.
Its kinda worth it to go to the restaurant on top of the Stratosphere. Its expensive to eat, but last time I was there we just hung out in the bar. Crazy view of the strip.

We are going with 2 other couples who have also never been. I have been to the Hoover dam before, but it has been about 15 years and I am thinking it might be cool to go back.
On another note, Do I need to dress nice? I always see on TV that people walking around Vegas are wearing suits and slacks. I am more of a boots/jeans kind of guy, so will that prevent me from getting in any places?
