Where should I have my LASIK done?

I highly recomend that you back to TLC and have a second opinion on your eyes. Spouse had astigmatism also and thin corneas, now she is 20/20. Have them do a complete eval of your eyes. They will be able to give you an exact treatment recomendation. Just make sure you don't wear any contacts two weeks before the exam.

From what I understood, the main reason to do the surgery described would be because the lens should permanently fix my astigmatism with less chance of needing a toucheup down the road, which I wouldn't be able to do with LASIK. It sounded like they both would be valid option for the next decade or so, and both may have a chance of lasting a lifetime, but I have greater odds of not having to go back with this other surgery.

I had PRK with Belardo about 7 years ago. Great results. Had a severe astigmatism and now have better than 20/20. Should have done years earlier. Best $ I've spent. Wasn't bad but took several days for recovery unlike lasik.
