Desktop. Per Dell, it's a software issuelaptop or desktop? With the external webcam, it could be either. We need the kind of info Catt57 asked about to really diagnose what is wrong. You may have to do a fresh install from your recovery partition, but we can't know until we get more info.
I have it set to ask if I want to update now or remind me.That is horrible.
I ran windows ME for a very long time and had to reinstall the disc a few times because I had no virus protection and i did not allow any updates to occur.
I am running on a different computer now not the old 286 MB.
This is a computer the wife gave up a Copmaq and it has windows 7 on it and I do not allow any updates to occur.
It works and I do not like change.
Can you block automatic updates on newer systems?
Had to do system reset. The only thing I couldn't recover was Adobe. I'll have to call them and see if they can send me a key code. I have the security code. This has been a nightmare but doable.
