Colt model 1877 in .38 long colt. It was colt's first double action. This example was manufactured in 1879. Billy The Kid carried one like it.

Four Colts ... Top left is a 1903 (made in 1916), bottom left is a Colt "Concealed Carry" Government, top right is a Colt Detective Special (made in 1957) that my late father carried for most of his career, bottom right is a Colt Combat Commander that Austin Behlert did his "Street Package" on. I later changed the sights and had Metaloy do the frame. Notice the old King's duckbill on it.

I never even heard of .long Colt! I think that’s one of the best looking cowboy guns there are.

Found this while clearing. I know it's not correct because revolver serial number is late 40's. But the grips fit perfectly.
