My only 1911, STI Elektra, but it's an awesome one. Extremely accurate and reliable (don't let anyone tell you short barrel 1911's aren't reliable because, while that may have been true a few years ago, it's not now). Pink, Trijicon tritium Heinie sights and .45acp...what else could you want?
According to the rules of this site I must post feedback 20 times and be on probation for a month. Sounds fair to me but I'm way old school and don't tend follow the trends of the masses . I just now in the last week got a smartphone and don't know how to use 99% of it so some friendly feedback would be appreciated on how to be part of "the family" thank you.

I've had my SR1911 for 15 months now. Only modification is the grips. I knocked the red eagles out and installed black eagles. [Broken External Image] This one I first posted on page 5 here. Just a Taurus PT1911. I've since updated the grips to orange cocobolo. I think they're stunning. I'm gonna strip this down and either reblue it or just buff the slide and parkerize it black.
