I would like to find some original grips for mine, but the Ahrends do a pretty good job in managing the recoil. I do have a set of rubbers too, but I have never warmed up to them. Do you ever shoot any 44 special? Talk about easy, then there is the 44 Russian which is like shooting a pop gun!

Oh... Yeah, they would be big. I know the Hogue doesn't cover the backstraps on most revolvers (SP,GP, and SRH are the only exceptions I know of).

I think it would be a cool shooter to take a SRH and modify the front of the frame to look more like a standard RH and use the RH barrel.

These have become two of my favorite guns to shoot. The SBH no longer has the scope on it.
