My First Non-Issued Rifle. You know, for fun.
- Del Ton 15, 5.56, 16" Notched Barrel
- Magpul CTR Stock (I have a UBR stock lying around.)
- Magpul Trigger Guard
- Magpul MOE Handguards
- Trijicon ACOG, TA31F Red Chevron 4 x 32

Keeping it simple. Only a 180 Rounds fired. When I deploy, I'll really be wishing I could take this with me instead of what's in the armory.

How do you guys like DPMS rifles. L really want to gey an AR-15 Love to see all the nice guns. Hope to have a nice one someday

Enjoy the heck out of mine. I have had no issues with it period. It goes bang everytime I pull the trigger. Others on here have different experinces. I would recommend one to anyone. But know others will say different.

DPMS is on the lower end as far as quality goes. If all you plan on doing is shooting 100 rounds at a time a few times a year and sticking it back in the safe and can find a good deal on one then have at it. But if you plan on using it for self defense or competitions or training classes then there are much better choices for very little extra money.

They claim a 35-40 db reduction, sounds about like a .22 if you ask me. I love it did a match at Oil Capitol with it shooting wolf ammo and it ran just fine. Recoil reduction was great as well. better than I had expected. off and on in a sec. or less and rock soild when on as well. That was a big factor for me. I looked at others and did not find anything that was as QD and soild as it was. Flash is eliminated as well. Many don't care about the flash but that was important to me also.

I am VERY happy with it, even though it wasn't the low cost of some others it was everything I wanted and more. No regrets, no buyers remorse, just happy with another fine product from a company that has (in my opinion) always sent out a quality product.

I have a guy that is a dealer for them and stocks them. So if you want one PM me and I can get you hooked up. You will really be happy with it.

x2 on the surefire 556k. i love mine and have never had a failure with any of my host rifles while running the can. i have the 7.62 in the works right now, and cant wait for that one either.

so say i wanted to spend $800.00 on a AR what should i go with???

For future reference, you should probably start a new thread in the proper section for these questions, but I'll try to help anyway.

A sponsor on here was selling CMMG's basic 16" rifle for a little less than that a couple months ago. You might try and send vital_arms a PM and see if he has any more.

Here's the link to the thread:http://www.okshooters.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64962

For the money, I don't think you can get a much better rifle that's ready to shoot.
