I got this yesterday, it was a stripped Spikes lower and a Rock River parts kit. I am leaning toward building a pistol then if it runs good maybe get a stamp for a SBR and put a stock on it. Then again, I might just go the carbine route. This is my first attempt at building an AR.

^^^ i saw one of these a few weeks ago for the first time... how reliable is it?
150 Rounds so far and I must say I was very impressed, not a single problem, very little recoil and drops all the brass on your feet.

Still needs a little work but I really like the setup so far, it is surprisingly light weight (8 lbs loaded).
With 30rds? 16" M4 Profile? Holy crap that is light.
Yes 30rds and M4 profile. I had to weigh it 5 times, I didn't believe it myself.
That was my idea for the two pistols I put together, but after shooting them with a sling (push slightly forward), and simply cheeking the tube, I couldn't ask for a more solid, stable rig. I think that now the stock would just be in the way!
10.5 inches works REALLY good for me.
