Right now I'm down to Model 1 and DEZ Arms. They have a fluted 7.5" w/ delta assembly (needed for the CASV) for $230.

That DEZ looks like the way to go. The M1S is barrel only, and probably comes out to more money after buying everything else you need.

Is that speedy time-frame specific to form 1s or are folks experiencing form 4 transfers that quickly?

I sent a Form 4 off at the end of August, around the 26-29th or so.

It went pending on 9/29.

I didn't know there was a poll. I would pick Troy without a doubt. The Vltor looks Airsofty to me.

I've got the Troy Extreme on my 11.5" AR and really like it.

You call them yet? Mine was form 4,... 45 day turn around 10/16 to 11/30.
