Otasco sold ammo for 93 cents for a box of 20 rounds? That's down in .22LR territory! I recognize the D.W.M. head stamp, but not the caliber - is it 8mm Mauser?
Close, It's 7x57 with a cupro-nickel, steel-clad bullet. I'm not sure exactly where these would have been shipped to but DWM was making and supplying tons of ammo for Spanish and Chilaen Mausers back in the day. These have a 1933 date on them and Spanish markings on the box so who knows?
7x57 milsurp ammo is HARD to find! at least for me it is! We'rd you get it?

When I first bought it, it was covered in Cosmoline. Including the stock.
After some linseed oil it purtyed up pretty nice.
