I know several around here have Jeeps. Let's see 'em! Since it's finally dried up after our little ice storm a week or so ago, I decided it was time to clean the Jeep up. I've heard a lot of good things about Turtle Wax ICE, and I have to say I really like it. Works great on the paint, rubber, plastic, and windows. Here's my baby. Here's a shot of how the ICE does on plastic. (left side is before, ride side is after). It leaves them looking new and not shiny or slippery.
makes me miss my old one well, not to much since i work on them daily. [Broken External Image] [Broken External Image] [Broken External Image]
The one I Sold, unfortunately. Drug it back form lubbock and rebuilt it just to sell it a year later after those fateful words, "I'm pregnant." Damnit! The one I probably shouldn't have bought back. But what the Hell. I didn't kill it during college, and I tried. I probably can't kill it now.
Well it's not exactly a "Jeep", but here's my 1976 Toyota FJ-40 w/ 8" lift and 350 small-block. I've owned it since '79. My son turns 16 this year and will be getting it!
I bought my wife a 2006 Jeep "Commander" last year. During the recent ice storm, I drove it to work all week long and NEVER had a bit of trouble. I had to use the 4 wheel drive only once and it worked like a champ! Here's an internet pic... [Broken External Image] The next vehicle I buy will no doubt be a Jeep. I've got my eye on a 2004 yellow Wrangler at my local car lot.
