OK, first a disclaimer.
This is not my Jeep. My nephew is a contract employee for the Air Force overseas. He is currently "home" on vacation here in the Colorado Springs area and has his Jeep, which we just took camping. (See Colorado thread, page three.) Anyway, he has expressed the desire for me to "keep an eye on" his Jeep while he finishes his last year and a half overseas, and he wants me to exercise it some. The Colorado thread will show where he likes to go with his Rubicon, but I very seriously doubt that I'll "exercise" his Jeep on those kinds of roads.
Anyway, his is a Jeep Rubicon that has been lifted about 4 1/2 inches and I think he said that it had 36-inch tires on it. (I don't fully understand all that stuff as I've never had a Jeep of my own.) At any rate, since I'm 68 years old and about 50 pounds overweight, this will be a fun toy to get into....literally.
If I remember right, he has two air compressors for when he deflates for off road driving. The two long cylinders on the roof rack on each side are air tanks for volume and the center box on the roof rack is one of the compressors. I think his other compressor is one that hooks directly to the battery and is portable.

You can't simply be done with a Jeep build. You can take a temporary hiatus but never done.
That's a fact! When I got my TJ I told my wife that is almost perfect. I was mentioned replacing the back bumper so I can have a hitch for the cargo carrier, the front bumper so I can get a winch and a soft top. She said " I thought you said it was perfect?!"
