Liberals and AI

I'm at a business valuation conference and AI is the hot topic of the year.

Anyway, it is pretty easy to tell who is liberal and who isn't.

Liberals seem to be all about AI and how great it is and pushing it hard. They also HATE any pushback about how it really isn't 'Artificial Intelligence'.

What is it with libs and AI? They for some reason think it is going to give them some sort of competitive advantage over Conservatives politically or something? They just like being led by the nose? They think it will help push the establishment of UI? All of the above?



As an aside, these always give me flashbacks to police seminars..... presenters are mostly liberal....attendees are mostly conservative.

I've messed with it a lot and use it professionally to a very limited extent.

It is 100% leftist biased. But you really only see it with non technical issues.

It depends on the AI , there are lots of forms of AI not just chat GPT , or CoPilot or Gemni.

I USE various forms of AI at work ALOT as its baked into many (most all ) of our enterprise monitioring tools ... There's no leftist bias in what we're using , but things like Davis in Dynatrace for instance does make spotting anomalies much easier and lightens the burden on analysts when identifying potential threats .


I do agree though that AI like Chat GPT does have an inherent programmed left leaning bias and I worry about how it will shape the Internet and what people consume . You want to have some fun argue with Chat GPT for a little bit and try to get it to admit communism is evil. You can actually get it to stop working if you try hard enough.
