Lithgow Arms Garand

Howdy all,

I have recently inherited a serials 7 million Garand, I believe a Lithgow cast receiver with USGI everything else.

Ive heard rumors that these receivers have a tendency to kaboom. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks,

I do not, but haven't heard very good things about them.
