I want my Savage re-barreled to this. No reason to do it, since mine has just over 100 rounds down the tube, but still....

What would this cost on a Savage?

Dalyup - that rifle is a 240 Weatherby Magnum, built for a customer in Tennessee...

Are you gonna keep your Savage in 338 Lapua or change cartridges?

Yes, I do build around Savage actions...

I was handed this action and build everything around it....

The stock is a McMillan A-5...

The barrel is a 26" Shilen Select Match with a 1-8" twist rate and 1.00" muzzle diameter...

D&T,
I like the .338 but if you have another round that I could get over 3000fps and a 300 gr bullet I would be willing to change rounds. I haven't looked too hard on a caliber change.
