If you want organic Backpacking meals (long term storage/ full of calories) Mary Jane's Kitchen is pretty great. http://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/store/c/11-Outside.aspx

First time I've heard of "glamping" as explained at this site's link http://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/Glamping-with-MaryJane

MaryJane Butters’ go-to guide for putting glamour into camping.

“Glamping, or glamour camping — one of MaryJane’s pet concepts — is about the juxtaposition of rugged and really pretty, grit and glam, diesel and absolutely darling.”—The New York Times.

Glamping—unleashing your inner wild while wearing a pair of fishing-lure earrings—is for every woman (or man!) who ever had a get-away-from-it-all fantasy (with a few frilly embellishments thrown in). Learn about the never-fail campfire, cooking with cast iron, how to change a flat, and much, much more.

Follow the growing Glamping movement at maryjanesfarm.org and internationalglampingweekend.com.

I completely forgot about Honeyville. I haven't tried their ready made meals but I have some of their FD vegetables and they are good to go.

I have to admit it's been a couple of years since I tried the Wise, and then it was just one of the individual packets. I just wasn't impressed with the taste as compared to the Mountain House. They are offering a free sample right now of their Pasta Alfredo. It says that a representative will contact you in the next 24-48 hours to process your request. This is how I got the sample I tried a couple of years ago. If it's like the last time this call is actually what I would call a medium pressure sales call. Then they call back in a few days after you receive it and want to know how much you want to order. May be different now though.

I dunno if I can buy into the "glamping" scene but a hotel with room service beats an RV in a park full of drunks and kids any day ...
